I make the invoice in one app, send it from another, and keep track of who's paid in my head. That's fine until four people owe me at once.

If this sounds like you
I make the invoice in one app, send it from another, and keep track of who's paid in my head. That's fine until four people owe me at once.
The designer with ten clients.
The scope was just a WhatsApp message. So when the client argued about the bill, I had nothing to show them. I let it go.
The dev who skipped the contract.
The “serious” tools are built for companies with a finance team. Way too many features I'll never use, and no time to figure them out.
The freelancer who tried “proper” software.
Contracts
Replaces Word docs, WhatsApp terms
Start from a template or write your own. Your client signs online, you both get a copy, and everything is in writing before the work starts.
Start with contractsInvoices & payments
Replaces Canva, a payment link, a spreadsheet
Send an invoice that looks like your brand. Your client pays the way they want, in their currency or yours. You see the moment it goes from sent to paid.
Start invoicingReminders & receipts
Replaces manual follow-ups, calendar nudges
When a payment runs late, Settle follows up for you on a schedule you set. Waiting on a contract to be signed? It can chase that too. And when an invoice is paid, the receipt goes out on its own. No awkward texts, no extra work.
See how reminders workAnd everything else
Put your logo, colors, and fonts on every contract, invoice, and receipt. It all looks like you.
Bill in your currency or theirs. Your client sees a payment page in the currency that makes sense to them.
Have a retainer client? Set the invoice up once and we'll send it for you every month.
The moment an invoice is paid, we send the receipt for you. No extra step, no paperwork to track.
No matter where you work
Most invoicing tools were built for one country, then bolted on the rest of the world later. We did it the other way round. Take card, bank transfer, cash, mobile money, or stablecoins. Bill in Naira, Rand, Rupees, Pesos, Reais, Pounds, or Dollars. Local clients, international clients, or a mix of both. However you work, Settle works with you.
The math
Most freelancers pay for three or four tools to do what Settle does in one.
Your current stack
Plus the hours you lose stitching them together.

Here's how the first week usually goes, from your first contract to money in the bank.
Add your logo, choose a template, and send your first contract and invoice. No card needed.
They sign online and pay in their own currency. You get a notification the moment the money lands.
Late invoices get friendly reminders on their own. Receipts send themselves. You get back to the actual work.
Questions
Most tools only do invoicing. You still need something else for contracts, something else for international payments, and your own memory for chasing late clients. Settle puts the whole thing in one place, and it looks like your brand instead of a generic template.
Yes, but the free plan is genuinely free. You can send 5 invoices a month for as long as you like, and we never ask for a card.
Yes. You can bill in any major currency and accept card or bank transfer. Your client sees a payment page in a currency that makes sense for them.
In most countries, yes. Electronic signatures are recognized in places like the US, the UK, the EU, Nigeria, India, and Australia. We record a timestamp, IP address, and full audit trail, the same way the big e-signature tools do. For high-value work, it's still smart to have a lawyer look over the wording.
When an invoice is overdue, Settle emails your client a friendly reminder for you. It starts with a sensible default of 3, 7, and 14 days late, but you pick the days yourself, rewrite the wording, or turn it off completely. Unsigned contracts can send their own reminders too. Everything goes out from your email address, not ours.
Probably. Stay on Free, send your invoices, ignore the rest of the product. Come back when you have ten clients and three of them are late.
